ET-00Sonicelle electric toothbrush sourcing desk

Electric toothbrushes from the Chinese oral-care clusters, with the nameplate on the card

Sonicelle is an electric toothbrush sourcing desk. We coordinate partner plants and component makers in the Shenzhen, Dongguan, Ningbo and Yangzhou Hangji clusters, write the specification of every line on one card, manage the certification route, check each lot before it ships and turn a brief into samples.

One desk for the whole oral-care range

12 lines

Most buyers start with one model and quickly need more: a brand that launches a sonic flagship is asked for a kids version; a marketplace seller that lists a battery model wants a travel set at a higher margin; every one of them needs replacement heads for years after the first sale. Running each item through a different plant means different motors, different shaft fittings and no single record when a lot feels different from the sample.

This desk keeps the range in one place: handheld brushes, a companion flosser, and the components inside them. One nameplate card per line, one inspection record per lot, one person accountable for the program.

Lines by category

2 categories

Each line page carries its nameplate card: a waveform sketch of the brushing modes, the six parts a plant will ask about with the options for each, and the reference ranges for strokes, modes, waterproofing and runtime. Start with what an electric toothbrush is made of if the category is new to you.

Programs by buyer

who we supply

The same sonic handle sells differently in a brand catalogue, a DTC store, a marketplace listing and a hotel amenity tray. These are the programs built most often, each with the formats, documents and spare-part plans that channel tends to need.

Clusters, not a catalogue

Shenzhen, Dongguan, Ningbo, Yangzhou

Chinese oral-care appliance making is concentrated in a few places. Shenzhen and Dongguan in Guangdong hold the electric toothbrush OEM belt: industry media report that plants there cover motors, moulding, overmoulding, SMT and final assembly for brands at home and abroad. Ningbo and Hangzhou in Zhejiang are the sonic brush strongholds; one Ningbo maker is reported to sell more than 30 million units a year across 40-plus export markets. Yangzhou's Hangji town is the world's largest toothbrush base, producing around 7.5 billion brushes a year - roughly nine tenths of China's toothbrush exports - and now extending into powered brushes. The desk shortlists plants per line and per price band rather than routing everything to one supplier. See industry clusters and how plants are audited.

Checked, then shipped

per lot

Toothbrush quality shows up in things you can measure: stroke frequency and amplitude on a rig, mode switching and the two-minute timer, runtime and charge time from a full charge, the IPX7 soak test, button life, brush head retention force, bristle retention and rounding, drop tests and the fit of every cosmetic part. The inspection plan is agreed before production and the record goes out with the lot. Read quality control and testing and inspection.

What the desk handles

sample to container

Beyond matching lines to plants, most programs need some of the following. Each page explains how it runs and what is confirmed in writing.

ET-07

Standards you can name on the listing

route per market

An electric toothbrush is a mains- and battery-powered appliance first. Oral hygiene appliances are tested to IEC/EN 60335-2-52 with the general rules of IEC 60335-1; North America uses UL 859 through a UL or ETL listing. The lithium cell and pack carry UN 38.3 transport tests and IEC 62133-2; Bluetooth models add FCC or CE RED; handles are commonly rated IPX7. Plants shipping to the United States hold an FDA establishment registration, which is a registration, not an approval. Sonicelle holds none of these certificates itself; partner plant documents are verified per project. Read the certifications guide and compliance, or send the brief to the quote form.

Send the lines you need, target specs, the quantity per model and your market. The desk replies in writing with matched plants, a specification sheet, certification routes and the reference MOQ.
